Proper techniques for pass blocking
Pass blocking is difficult to teach in youth football. Roll out passes are the best bet in youth football. Roll out passes will allow easier blocks, as well as an easier view of the field for the quarterback. Having a quarterback on a roll out pass will also give him an option to run the ball if the receiver is not open. The great thing about roll out passes are that you really only need to get 1 or 2 good blocks (blocking defensive end or contain player) for the quarterback to get the throw off This also offers an option to run if the receiver is not open. Pass blocking needs to be worked in practice every day.
- Every offensive lineman is responsible for the gap inside of them.
- Wide base, good arm extension.
Keep in front of the defender; it is like guarding someone in basketball. Roll out passes are the easiest passing plays in youth football. Anything that does not take a lot of time to develop.

Thats awesome
Pass blocking is so important to the survival of the QB. It is also important for the timing of the play. Messing up the timing of the play will, on most occations, disrupt the play itself.
