QB Coach Todd Krueger displays the proper way for a youth football quarterback to do a 3 step drop. Pre-snap, he recommends putting pressure from the bottom hand to the top hand. As the football is snapped- first step is to 6 o’clock, shoulder width apart, 2 smaller quick steps follow then throw. Proper footwork is essential.
